Les Voiles de St-Barth 2010

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Les voiles de St.Barth 2010From the days of traditional Caribbean pirogues to the mega-yacht ‘Octopus,’ by way of the schooner ‘Ipana’ and the era of traditional wooden fishing boats, Saint Barthélemy has always had its nose to the wind and its heart belongs to the sea.

“Les Voiles de Saint Barth” wants to continue this nautical tradition, interweaving the traditional and the contemporary, a regatta with a friendly get-together.

The inspiration for “Les Voiles de Saint Barth” is to create a regatta for beautiful sailboats to navigate in our waters in a festive spirit.

A new nautical event poised to make its debut April 6-11, 2010…

Weekend in St. Barts

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

letistbarthLe Ti St-Barth is so old school that it looks almost new. The décor, heavy on red velvet with feathered chandeliers, looks like something you’d find on a cheesy Paris-by-Night tour.

In February 2008 36 hours of sights, sounds and tastings on St Barts were reported by The New York Times (Click for slide show).

The St Barts’ Bucket race

Monday, April 2nd, 2007

One on the wonderful aspect of St Barthelemy life is the events that make this Island so unique. Every year at St Barthelemy takes place the St Barts’ Bucket Regattas. These regattas are primarily about having fun aboard the most spectacular sailing yachts ever launched, in the nicest cruising areas in the world. The Bucket provides a safe venue in which these yachts can sail to peak performance, with equal focus on winning the race and winning the party.

We could admire these spectacular sailing yatchts in the Gustavia Harbourg, all around St Barthelemy island and particularly from the sun deck of the Villa Triagoz.snv300712
